Does anyone know how to disable the automatic cleanup of dead links from the desktop via a GPO in Windows 7? I've only been able to find information about Windows XP and the cleanup wizard rather than the automatic cleanup. News of the computer: Dell Studio 1745 laptop computer running Windows 7 Home. I remember disabling automatic desktop cleanup via a GPO months ago but now I'm thinking I only disabled the wizard and not the automatic functionality.
